Join Me at Mystic South Next Weekend!
I’m so excited! After a two-year hiatus, Mystic South is back and better than ever! If you’re going, please be sure to visit with me and check out the workshops I’m hosting. Here’s my schedule for this event:
Friday, July 15, 8 am: Household Magic – Using the Mundane to Make the Magical
Sorry about the early morning kickoff – I don’t make the schedule – but if you can rouse yourself from your comfy bed at 8 am, come hang with me! Learn how to use plain old non-magical stuff around your house in your spellwork and rituals. From kids’ toys to the weird things in the back of your kitchen junk drawer, this fun and interactive workshop will give you a chance to put on your witchy thinking hats and come up with some creative solutions to magical problems!
Friday, July 15, 5:30 pm: Desperate House Witches Live Podcast
Join me and a bunch of other presenters LIVE from Mystic South, when we hang out with the luscious Raina Starr, shamelessly promote our work, and probably use naughty language.
Saturday, July 16, 11 am: Spiritual Decluttering
We’ve all read about the life-changing practice of getting rid of things that don’t bring us joy but there’s more to decluttering than just cleaning out your closet or emptying the basement. By decluttering our minds, spirits, and souls, we can help ourselves move towards success and happiness. Learn how to declutter your spiritual life by freeing up emotional space, embracing self-care, and setting (and enforcing) boundaries. After all, once you get rid of the garbage, you’ll make room for the good stuff, and you can consciously and mindfully open yourself up to all of the positive things you’ve been missing out on.
Saturday, July 16, 12:30 pm: Author Book Signing Session
Did you buy one of my books? COOL! I’d love to sign it for you – stop over at the Sojourner Whole Earth Provisions bookstore booth, where I’ll be scribbling my name in whatever you have on hand. Huge shoutout to Heron Michelle and her team for being our book vendor at this year’s event!
ALSO – seriously, y’all, if you can’t get to one of my workshops or to the book signing, no worries! Please don’t hesitate to come up and say hello if you see me hanging out in the halls, the hotel, or the vendor spaces (just don’t follow me to the bathroom for a conversation, I gotta draw the line somewhere). I love hearing your feedback, answering questions, and just socializing with other members of the Pagan community. You’ll find that most of us authors and presenters are super approachable, and we’d all love to chat with you when we have the opportunity.
