This workshop, which is part of the Room with a Boo Haunted Writing Retreat, will help you master the basics of writing about Tarot cards (and readers!), as well as other forms of divination such as pendulums, scrying mirrors, runes, and more! Note: You MUST be registered for the Room with a Boo Haunted Writing Retreat to attend this workshop.

Columbus St., Lithopolis, OH, United StatesI'll be cosplaying Professor Trelawney and reading Tarot in the tower for your entertainment pleasure at this amazing annual event — tickets are limited! Come to the 4th Annual Yule Ball in The Wagnalls Memorial Loft. Experience The Wagnalls Memorial transformed into the Great Hall for the night. It will be a magical evening under twinkling lights! There will be a DJ, dancing, appetizers, prizes, tarot card readings and a cash bar with beer, wine and specialty drinks from the wizarding world. Non-alcoholic drinks are included in the ticket price. The dress for this event is semi-formal, although dress robes and witch and wizard costumes are also encouraged! This event is for ages 16 and older. This is a fundraiser for The Wagnalls Memorial’s Harry Potter Club, the DA Owls. Tickets are $25. Tarot 101 Online Class Series

This five-part, fifteen-hour intensive class, held in partnership with Erzulie's Conjure Garden, will be offered live online, on Monday nights for five weeks, beginning March 23 and concluding April 20. Thanks to the magic of Zoom conferencing, you can take this class from anywhere in the world, in the comfort of your own home! You'll learn the basics of how to get started reading Tarot cards, what you need to know before you begin, the best ways to select and protect your deck, a bit about the history of Tarot, and a variety of layouts to use depending on your needs. In addition, we'll review each card in depth, and talk about not only what it means, but how it relates to the other cards in the spread.
