Join me for one of my favorite workshops, Meet Your Ancestors, at Chosen Pathways in Athens, Ohio! This workshop is based on my bestselling book, Badass Ancestors, but you can still take the class even if you haven't read it! In the first half of this two-hour workshop, you'll learn how to identify who your ancestors are - who counts as an ancestor, how to find them, and even how to deal with genealogical challenges like adoption, missing records, and enslaved ancestor histories. In the second part, we'll take a deep dive into how to work with your kinfolk for protection, abundance magic, wisdom, guidance, divination, and spiritual development. Seating is limited, so please be sure to reserve your spot by contacting the shop, at (740) 249-4511 or emailing chosenpathwaysshop@gmail.com.
Join me and my friends at Dayton PPD - I'll be hanging out at a booth with a bunch of cool books to sign for you, and doing a workshop as well! My dear friend, soul sister, and co-priestess LilyBeth will be joining me, and offering some amazing readings - come see what the cards have in store for you. Workshop Info: Spiritual Decluttering, Main Pavilion, 2:15 - 3 pm We’ve all read about Marie Kondo’s life-changing practice of getting rid of things that don’t bring us joy — but there’s more to decluttering than just cleaning out your closet or emptying the basement. By decluttering our minds, spirits, and souls, we can help ourselves move towards success and happiness. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to declutter your spiritual life by freeing up emotional space, embracing the self, and learning to set boundaries. After all, once you get rid of the garbage, you’ll make room for the good stuff, and you can consciously and mindfully open yourself up to all of the positive things you’ve been missing out on. The Dayton Pagan Pride Day is an affiliate of The International Pagan Pride Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of prejudice and religious discrimination through education, activism, charity and community. Items of non-perishable food will be accepted and donated to the local food bank. The food drive provides participants the ability to share with others while making a positive statement about Paganism. The event is sponsored and organized by the Dayton Pagan Coalition (DPC). Dayton Pagan Pride Day and The International Pagan Pride Project are not affiliated with any specific pagan tradition or religion. I'll be at the Columbus Witches' Ball on November 5, selling and signing books for you! Join me, along with my soul sister LilyBeth, who will be offering readings. This event will be held in the Short North Ballroom in the Columbus Convention Center, conveniently located in the heart of downtown near several restaurants, hotels and bars in what is known as the Arena District. We will be in the Northernmost ballrooms, in the convention center and near the newly built Goodale Parking Garage. There will be a cash bar for attendees to enjoy (responsibly) as well as provided waters and soda. Because of the cash bar this year’s event is 18 and older. Unfortunately the event cannot offer food this year due to costs, but it starts at 7 pm so you can go enjoy a dinner at one of the amazing local eateries before the ball. There will be a separate Ancestor Shrine room for people who want to spend a time with their Ancestors and it will be staffed by one of the event's Oracle Ritual team members. Due to past feedback there will not be a long ritual in the middle or the ball, but a shorter ritual to start the ball so people may enjoy the dancing, socializing and shopping that they have asked for in the past.
