Join me and my friends from the Athens, Ohio, magical community for Trip the Light Fantastic! This all-day event, from 11am to 6pm, features shopping, readings, and kids' crafts, and then from 6 - 11pm there will be a potluck, contests, games, ghost stories, an ancestor ritual, and so much more. During the day you can shop with our local, talented artisan vendors, have tarot/bone readings done by local readers, and your kids can enjoy the playground and do some crafts with us. Cost is $5 (for adults and kids 12 - 17, kids 11 and under are FREE) to enter during this time, 11am - 6pm. At 6pm we switch over and have a yummy potluck and party with lots of fun. Please bring a dish to share - make it look good and spooky because there will be a contest with prizes for best Halloween dishes. We will be providing the beverages - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic (bring ID to get wristband for age designation). Then we will hear Gina Kruzel's scariest stories from her experiences as a paranormal investigator, have a costume contest with prizes, games for all ages with prizes, a ritual to remember those who have passed (please bring memories for the altar), and a dance party with DJ Muchi Nochi. Evening cost is $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 - 17, FREE for kids 11 and under. This event is for all paths - start with a day of shopping and wrap up the evening with dinner, music, and a Masquerade Ball! Start with the Mystic Faire from 11 am to 5 pm - lots of wonderful shopping, tarot readers, authors, artists, and more. The Masquerade Ball starts at 6 pm in the Ballroom - door prizes, gifts, costume contest, and music by Discarded Mischief Band. It's time again for one of my favorite annual events! Dayton Pagan Pride is back, and I'll have a vendor booth set up to pimp my wares - but I'm also doing a cool and fun workshop: Witchcraft on a Budget! Ready to grow your magical practice, but working on a shoestring budget? No worries! This fun and informative workshop offers tips and hacks for making ends meet while not shortchanging your spellwork. You'll learn how to figure out your needs versus wants, make or find your tools and supplies, and reuse and upcycle non-magical items into valuable spell and ritual components.

Come hang out with me at Chosen Pathways from 1 - 3 pm, during the shop's annual Halloween extravaganza! Even though I'll only be there a couple of hours, this all-day event includes art vendors, a costume contest, a Halloween make & take, tarot readings, spirit art, music, mummy races, kids' activities, and ancestor altar, and more. Stay until the very end to enjoy the original Hocus Pocus film staring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najmy - and don’t forget to bring a Hocus Pocus inspired dish or drink for the potluck.
