Badass Ancestors Update

As some of you probably know, this summer I signed a contract with Llewellyn Worldwide for a new book, tentatively titled Badass Ancestors! I’m pleased to announce that the manuscript is complete and has been submitted — the book itself won’t be released for another year, but I’m super excited about this one.

Badass Ancestors will teach you how to find your elusive kinfolk — it’s a crash course in sacred genealogy — as well as how to work with them for personal empowerment. You’ll learn how to set up an ancestor altar, petition your people for guidance, protection, and financial blessings, and even how to deal with those Problem Ancestors that we’ve all got lurking in the family tree. It’s chock full of rituals, prayers, craft ideas, and even recipes you can use to connect with your ancestral guides. There’s even a collection of valuable genealogy resources: books you should check out, websites where you can hunt your people for free, and a special list of source material for those of you researching enslaved kinfolk.

I’m so thrilled to be working with the folks at Llewellyn, and I’ll keep you updated on the progress as we get closer to release date in October 2020 — it will be a while before cover art is created, but once it is, rest assured I’ll share it!
